Stimulating leadership tor Burling- ton's public school system has been provided by BHS Principal Bobert White, former superintendent Dr. W. G. Brooks, and Superintendent Bay H. Bracewell. Upsetting the applecartu in grand- ma's day was a popular game played among children, but this year it was applied to the highschool administraf tion. The first upset carrie when Dr. Brooks was elected president ot lllinois Wesleyan college. With twenty years ot experience behind him as principal ot BHS, Mr. Bracewell was the capable man to till the superintendency and was elected to that position. This in turn lett another responsible ottice open. Scores ot applicants applied tor the highschool principalship which was awarded to Mr. White, a Windy Cityeite who quickly won his way into the hearts at all Grayhoundio. in
