A young team this year, out B-E grapplers showed well during duel meet competi- tion. Our team finished 4th in Sub -District and brought a 5th place home from District, qualifying two wrestlers for the State tourney. These two, Randy Staffan- son and Randy Audette, lost close matches that eliminated them from further competition in the tourney. The team Voted Randy Rabenstein team captain and Randy Staffanson the outstanding wrestler award. Congratulations to our fine team and especially to their fine coach, Bo Campbell! Track '6 With many returning letterman, this year's track squad proved to be a worthy opponent to every team. Many Sophomores up from last year's Erickson team showed well in all meets. Roger McKee was the only returning state qualifier this year, proved to be a Winner once again. In the season's first meet Chad Dodd dropped the mile to set a track record of l:57:8 in the 880 while Randy Rabenstien broke the old school standard in the javelin. In the same meet Don Powers once again broke his own school record of 49'll in the shot. Veteran distance star Lynn Curtis took his turn respectively in the mile and two-mile and showed well in both of his specialities. Next year is one coach Whan will be looking forward to with this year's younger stars setting the pace. S chumacher, S . Louia . 440, 100-YD. No Miss Mistletoe and her court, no Daddy Date Night , no Girl of the Month, no participa- tion in NW League girls' sports and less help to put an end to the Grand- stand Debt. Each of these organizations give the B. E. H. S. co-ed a chance to show how much she cares about her school, her friends and her future. This year each of the clubs on these two pages have served the school Well. G. A. A. sold Christmas Trees as part of their pledge to donate 351,000 to the Grandstand Fund. F. H. A. selected its Mistletoe Court, much to the approval of the students, and once again sponsored Santa Pic- tures in hope of raising enough money to meet their Grandstand Pledge and then pass it as they did last year. Girls' Club Cabinet has contined their successful attempts to make the Club more organized and better able to serve the school. All in all it has been quite the year for these clubs and their members, and as said earlier, what would we do without them? Language and careers. Language and a look towards the future are the basis for the existence of the clubs on these two pages. French and Spanish clubs offer each individual the chance to further his knowledge about one of his subjects, plus fellowship with his classmates. F .N.A. offers the B-E coed the chance to think about what tomorrow may hold for her. Aside from these obvious facets, each of these clubs, they are also very active around the campus, doing service jobs as well as raising money to help pay off the Grandstand Debt and to finance their own activities. These clubs offer the individual yet another chance to find out just exactly who he is and what he stands for. SPANISH CLUB BACK ROW: 1 to rg S. Phillips, T. Dahl, R. Allen, S. Straub, J. Lopez, M.
