Berfha fakes fo school as a duck fakes fo wafer, and her cheerfulness and wide grin make fhe Burlingame halls a liflle more pleasanf for all of us. n Sfoddarf: lan is none foo hard fo look af, wifh his clear blue eyes and clean-cur feafures. Famed as a super- fickef-salesman, lan's swell personalify sells himself as well, and we all know him for his excellence in fhe swim- ming pool and for fhe admirable iusfice wifh which he execufes his Sfudenf-Courf decisions. lrma Sfringham: lrma is a gal who is always full of smiles and never fails fo greef everyone wifh a broad grin and a cheery welcome. She can boasf beaufiful blue eyes and blond hair. You'll find her a whizz so far as shorf- hand and fypewrifing are concerned, and lrma is one person who knows how fo feasel Dorofhy Swanson: The small blond wifh fhe beaufiful eyes and The million-dollar smile who greels us each morning af fhe Co-op. We see her dashing here and fhere in fhe halls, buzzing around as business-like as can be. l-ler super-efficiency and sysfemafic neafness make her fhe pride of fhe school: and, whaf's more, she's everybody's friend. Barbara Swiff: Who is Barbara Swiff? No one knows such a person, buf we all known Tookie, fhe liveliesf liffle youngsfer in 'rhe senior cla'ss. An efernal grin covers her freckles, a wiffy remark is always on The 'rip of her fongue, and she has a ready laugh for fhe ofher fellow's joke-even if if is no good! Bill Talbof: Bill is nof iusf anofher blond, for he has a way abouf his dressing and a sfriking manner fhaf, fogefher wifh his six-odd feef of heighf, serve fo casf abouf him an air of glamour. Nancy Scovel: Nancy's a fall, sfafely person: and, oh, how fhe girls land boysl sigh wifh envy over her beaufifully waved blond hair! A wonderful sense of humor, a spark of cuf-up-ish-ness, a swell sporf, Nancy is popular wifh everyone, always ready for a good fimeg and she likes everyone. Roberf Simpson: A blifhe and airy spirif is smilin' Bob as he bounces abouf among us, always irrepressibly happy. Bob has visions of a cozy coffage, a plow, a cow, and a half-dozen bouncing offspring as he looks fo fhe fufure for fhe healfhful life of a farmer.
