CURTAIN CALLS a gal affer our own hearfs. A sfeamsfress of merif and a compefenf fiddler, fhis silken-haired young miss will make some lucky man a model wife. Sam Bucchieri: Tall, dark, wifh black, sparkling eyes and a cheery hello for all his pals. Loafing's his hobby, baskef- ball his sporf, and he hopes some day fo be flying high as a fransporf pilof. I-le's a friendly fellow, a swell sporf, and an alfogefher good guy. We like him, and we wish him happy landings. Rosemary Bulling: Poor liffle girl! l-low she'd love fo affain a dignified five-feef-four! Buf, alas, we fear fhaf fhis liffle bif of life, so peppy and brighf, is doomed fo efernal disappoinfmenf: she will never reach even five- feef-fwol So five-feef-and-one-half-inch consoles her- self wifh fennis and kniffing. Cheer up, Rosemary: precious fhings come in small packages! Conley Byrnes: Tall, good-looking, nonchalanf, he wends his way among his fellow-sfudenfs, armed wifh a disarm- ing smile and a cheery hello! Quief and reserved, buf when he speaks we all lisfen. Cars and airplanes are his chief inferesfs and avocafion. However, in spife of his mechanical flair, he has fime fo make friends, and many of fhem. Lucille Cannon: Achieving dignify wifh quiefness and mafurify, fhe girl wifh fhe preffy name, Lucille, is soofh- ing and resfful as a companion and friend. The Cannons' daughfer is also a very apf arf-sfudenf, wifh many. many prinfs, posfers, and oils fo her credif. Linval Casfle: If silence is golclen, Linval is wealfhy, for he's one of fhe quiefesf boys in 'rhe class. Good-nafured, a fine lisfener, and a fine friend, according fo fhose who know him besf. His speed-boaf claims mosf of his spare fime. l-le boasfs no ambifion, has a sfrong dislike for bank-nighfs. Alec Cereghino: Cherry is fhe liffle man wifh fhe big sfuff of B. l-l.
