The Burke Bulldogs completed an average season this year in basketball as they
recorded ll wins against 7 defeats. A more evenly matched conference than in previous
years made it a tough season, but the Bulldogs grabbed third place in conference tourney
and consolation honors in the district.
Prospects for the next season are good although three team members will graduate

The second team finished the season with a very fine record of 13 wins against only Z
defeats. They played fine ball in the tournament and took home the first place trophy
