Captains steer the school
Mrs. Oga lorjorian is in charge of
curriculum and instruction. In
more understandable terms, she
determines what classes will be
offered each semester and she
also determines how many
students will be allowed per class.
Mrs. lorjorian has worked in every
district of the city. To Mrs. lor-
jorian, Burges is not a strange
place. She started teaching
English here in 7955 when the
school was first opened, and has
since been almost everywhere.
This year, Mr. W. Craigo com-
pleted two-and-a-half years of
being an assistant to Mr. Tom
Chavez. Mr. Crago is responsi-
ble for the discipline of the lunior
and Senior classes. He is also in
charge of absences and tardies.
Mr. Craigo graduated from this
school in 1968. The former
Mustang commented that the
only big difference in the school
was the dress code and the
means of discipline.
Mr. Dean Silva has also been
at this school for two-and-a-half
years. He keeps up with all of the
Freshman and Sophomore
classes and the bussing
