Dwams B ,, Senior year became a long-sought re- ality for 700 students this year as gov- ernment classes, announcement orders and cap and gown measurements made the class realize they were really and truly seniors. The canned-food drive set the seniors apart from the underclassmen as they were let out of school early to collect for the worthy cause. Senior Student Council members contributed to anoth- er worthy cause. They presented S50 to Mr. Leo Ciallardo, Burges teacher, to help with medical expenses. Graduation day came May 30, and with it came tears of sadness and joy. As seniors walked the hall of Burges for the last time May 24, memories flashed through their heads, reminding them of all the good times and some ofthe bad times that they had at Burges.
