'Gag Pawn! ls Wawtimg BiwBTl1ema To involve the student body in the planning of Burges-In-Bloom, students were asked to vote on the theme, band, and the place for the ball. Students chose the theme of Gay Paree and a change of scene from the gym to the Holiday Inn, vvhere Congress pro- vided the music. Diana Galloway and Sergio Martinez made an impressive Queen and King and Rosie Gonzalez and Hank Bashore served as Lady-in-Waiting and Aide-to- the-King. Student Council worked in preparing candle dripped vvine bottles and lace garters for the Gay Paree effect. Bask- ets of carnations, dripped wine bottles, and the garters were taken home as souvenirs after the ball. tal Freshman Sheila Wagner hurriedly finishes the last of the garters for B-In-B. tbl Freshman senator, Cara Giallanza makes dripped wine bottles for the ball during a break fromhclasses. lcl Putting finishing touches on her make-up, Lady-in-Waiting Rosie Gonzalez antici- pates the walk down the aisle. ldl Prac- ticing before the prom Rosie Gonzalez adjusts Queen Diana Galloway's crown.

Linda Belmontes reigned as Queen and Dora Saenz as Lady-in- Waiting.
