'W 212 en iam 'lflf ,42 'We Face the Future -Using this declaration as their theme, the W'42 senior graduates took final leave of their Alma Mater, 3:30 P. M. February 6, l942-Kenny Eyers, class president, presided at the ceremony. He introduced the student speakers and gave the class farewell. Norma Gottleber, Mary Louise Montague, Maxine Waddell, and Carleton Shay, the student speakers, gave their views of the part their class will play in shaping events to come. They dealt with economic, social, and educa- tional problems of the world at war. Advisors Miss Grace Columbo, Miss Dorothy Brockman, and Mr- Burton Henry took charge of the many activities which took place before graduation. Ever Since Eve, senior play, a real success- presented January i5 and I6-class day was November 25. Senior Girl's Tea, Afternoon dance, January 27, Candlelight Supper, Jan- uary 28, Parent-Teachers Reception, January 25, Commencement January 29.

7 'W 42 en iam enior arm icem Kenny Eyers Norman Jae Ray Mathews Muriel Collins Representing the will of the W'-42 senior graduates, the class officers and their chosen committes carried out the activities of the graduating class. The class officers consisted of President, Kenny Eyers who supervised the planning and directing of the commencement activities, Vice-president, Norman Jae headed the class social committee and was responsible for the planning of the Senior Party, picnic and other social events. Among the duties of Secretary Muriel Collins were the planning of the Baccalau- reate program, and the publicity for the senior class affairs. The choice ofthe class gift forthe school came among the duties of the committee headed by Treasurer Ray Mathews.
