From The Editor . . . Win this the tenth volume of Chivalry the designated yearbook of Buena Vista High School, we are forced to make various cuts. These cuts are because of serious financial problems, due to the lack of support by community advertizers and most of all apathy —— — within our student body: We the 76-77 Chivalry staff have been forced to make drastic renovations. Some of the changes you wI notice are a reduction of pages and paperback cover. The reductions are due to ever-rising costs of printing, coupled with deficient spending by previous staffs. This years edition is being forced to make cuts in quanity, but not, in our hopes, a cut in quality Pat Durst, Editor Chivalry Volume 10 Buena Vista High School 3945 Holland Road Saginaw, Michigan 48601 Chi valry — (Shiv'1r8),n. 1. qualities of an ideal knight. The five starters that will be back next year are Minnie Shedrick, April Williams--Juniors, and three Sophomores--Ruby Davis, Stephanie Williams and Morgann Jackson. The 76-77 Varsity and Junior Cheerleaders proved this.
