Buena sets highest mark on Christmas Can Food Q Dr: ve One of Buena's finest moments of this year was our 1987 Christmas for Kids Can Food Drive. Headed by Mrs. Diane Harriman and the Chair- man Brian Buck. Buena took in over 9,800 cans for hungry families in Ventura County. This figure is the highest total number of cans in Buena history. Mr. Bob Pease, Mr. 'Bill Allmen, Mr. Richard Dietz, and Harriman's classes brought in half of the total cans. lt was an awe- some success. l'd Ioveto see Buena raise even more next year! com- ments Brian. Much thanks goes out to everyone who helped. The en- thusiasm was just incredible, and the whole school really worked hard, concludes Buck. The Christ- mas can drive focuses on another successful moment this year that brings outthe classgenerousityand cooperativeness of Buena High. 1. Volunteer driver loads them up and pre- pares for send off. 2. Chairman Buck and Ken Pedroza don't even break a sweat while lifting Cans. 3. Bret poses with Buena cans. 4.
