Claiming undefeated Varsity Channel League Championship, the unbeaten team established a new school record with its 14-O standing. lt also inked in longest win streak with 16 games. The 5th ranked varsity made it to California Scholar- ship Federation Quarter Finals. Another record smashed this year found the Bulldogs with 22 straight league wins and 17 home victories in a row. Coach Glenn Hannah was assisted by Dave Harrison. Most Valuable Player, Shawn Kirkeby, nailed that honor by highest scorer with 18.8 points per game C6670 shooting commissionj, and gainedtops in rebound department with 10.5 per game. Shawn received Co-Most Valuable League Player and joined All County Team ranks. Shooting 12.1 ppg and top assists 00.35, Mike Sandoval earned team captain. He also led CIF in most assists and assist average. Mike stepped on first team all league and all county team, too. Ranking no.2 in scoring stats, Jeff Oliver at 15.1 ppg also claimed a slice of all league first team and all tourney at Ventura. With 10.1 ppg Craig Rasmussen thonorable mention all leaguet and Adam Valencia at 8.1 ppg com- pleted top five scorers. Adam garnered second team all league. Rebounding after Kirkeby, Valencia leaped to 9.7 pg and Mark Franke handled 5.2. Free Throw concentrations, found Rasmussen zipping in 84? for top dog in this category.
