Tournament trials: 2nd place Cal Poly, lst Simi Valley 8-way, 5th Pleasant Valley. S6011 Jordan stood at 2nd in IIS pound category with I-2-0 league record and I2-6-2 overall. He placed 3rd in Pleasant Valley Tourna- ment. Scoring a I4-ll-3 overall record, Gordon Redding. captured league 2nd K2-0-lj in 130 pound bracket. Coach Ray Seay'.v commentary: Best wrestling team that I have had in the three years as head wrestling coach. Very hard working and dedicated group of young men. Buena dominated everyone in the league except Dos Pueblos who has one of the better teams in the state this year. With eight returning varsity, Buena should be strong next year. We placed six wrestlers in the Channel League finals and six inthe consolation finals.
