She is responsible for contacting clubs and organizations V that desire publicity, and providing the student body with knowledge of coming activities. CHAIRMAN OF ELECTIONS- ig X Suzie Rawls has many duties. She represents the Pep Squad on Cabinet, helps to plan pep rallies, promotes school spirit at all athletic events, and works for sportsmanship and unity among members of the student body. VCISC VICE- PRESIDENT- Marlenna Watson heads the Elections Committee. She di- rects ASB elections, and all class elections. She oversees the campaigns of all candidates for office, making sure that student elections are fair and conducted in good taste. Tim Downey is Vice-Presi- dent of the Ventura County Inter-School Council. VCISC is composed of sev- enteen county high schools, and has monthly meetings. Its purpose is to promote good inter-school relationships. Brad Jones, not shown, is VCISC Proj- ect Chairman.

Girls, Boys Represented by Diligent Officers- DIRECTOR OF GIRLS' ATHLETICS- Peggy Combs' chief respon- sibility is representing the girls of the Girls' Athletic Association in Executive Cabinet. She conducts all GAA meetings, plans GAA activities such as sports- nights, after school sports, and playdays. GIRLS' LEAGUE PRESIDENT Steve Peake is responsible for planning the four Sport Banquets during the year, and must work closely with the coaches. He displays the victory flags, arranges the trophy case, and publi- cizes all sports events. BOYS, FEDERATION PRESIDENT - Janet Schwartz is president of the Girls' League Board. She represents all of the girls on campus in the Ex- ecutive Cabinet, holds Girls' League Board meet- ings, and, with the board, plans such activities as the Backwards Dance and the New Girls, Tea. DIRECTOR OF BOYS' ATHLETICS- Gary Grounds represents all boys on campus. He presides over the Boys' Federation Board, and he and Board mem- bers plan activities such as the car registration and the donut concession at all home basket- ball games.

Girls' At- tire Committee speaks at Elementary Schools by invitation and carries through various sugges- tions and ideas that im- prove appearance.
