Active Leaders Direct Co-Curricular Functions DIRECTOR OF ASSEMBLIES- Organizing and presenting entertaining and educa- tional assemblies is the responsibility of Marian Schlange. Marian works closely with Mrs. Davis, Dean of Girls, and with the assembly performers. DIRECTOR OF CLUBS - Kris Kuroki's chief respon- sibilities are presiding over Club Council, planning the club calendar, and passing through Cabinet activities that clubs request. Her main project was Join- a-Club Week which pub- licized current club activities. DIRECTOR OF SERVICE- Planning Sophomore Ori- entation Day, supervising student supplies and con- trolling the Student Center office are a few of Ron Wy- and's activities. Ron is also chairman of the Service Committee, which sponsors a Korean Child, Tai Hong Oh. DIRECTOR OF PUBLICATIONS - Allyson Tuckfield represents the yearbook and newspaper publications in Cabinet. She is also Modern Youth correspon- dent for the Star-Free Press, which entails writing and send- ing down Buena news stories. She oversees the ASB Publicity Committee.

ASB Officers Guide with Student Body Support X TREASURER- Passage of requisitions through Cabinet and keeping the ASB informed of its finan- cial status occupies most of Susie Brown's time. Organizing the ASB budget for the follow- ing year is also one of Susie's responsibilities. F S'-S TZ'- l PRESIDENT- As ASB President, it is Ron Jacobs' duty to represent the entire student body. His diverse responsibilities in- clude coordinating student activities, student behav- ior, calling assemblies to order, and heading Execu- tive Cabinet. VICE-PRESIDENT - Chairman of Interclass For- um, Social Board, and Cal- endar Committee, the Vice- President is active in many aspects of student activi- ties. Bob Fredricks' respon- sibility is to relay student opinion to Cabinet, and to act for the president in case of need. SECRETARY- As secretary, Loreen Facer must keep and publish ac- curate minutes of all Cabi- net meetings and carry on official correspondence. Girls, Boys Represented by Diligent Officers- DIRECTOR OF GIRLS' ATHLETICS- Peggy Combs' chief respon- sibility is representing the girls of the Girls' Athletic Association in Executive Cabinet. She conducts all GAA meetings, plans GAA activities such as sports- nights, after school sports, and playdays. GIRLS' LEAGUE PRESIDENT Steve Peake is responsible for planning the four Sport Banquets during the year, and must work closely with the coaches. He displays the victory flags, arranges the trophy case, and publi- cizes all sports events. BOYS, FEDERATION PRESIDENT - Janet Schwartz is president of the Girls' League Board. She represents all of the girls on campus in the Ex- ecutive Cabinet, holds Girls' League Board meet- ings, and, with the board, plans such activities as the Backwards Dance and the New Girls, Tea. DIRECTOR OF BOYS' ATHLETICS- Gary Grounds represents all boys on campus. He presides over the Boys' Federation Board, and he and Board mem- bers plan activities such as the car registration and the donut concession at all home basket- ball games.
