PHYSICAL EDUCATION The program is planned to con- tribute to the educational, social, hygienic, and recreational devel- opment of the student. The general background for phys- ical exercise and corrective health habits is given to develop physical endurance, to meet the demands of daily living, and to attempt to improve general health through participation in physical activity. The physical education program is a vital part of the high school student's life.
