In the late 1800's a little girl named Virginia wrote to the New York Times to ask if there was really a Santa Claus. Virginia's letter and re- sponse have since become a yuletide classic. This tale served as the theme for this year's Christmas Program. Under the direction of Mrs. Imogene -,N Little Rochelle Scoville knows there is a Santa Claus be- cause she caught him at work. Bercaw, the choir presented the program to the student body in a double assembly, then, with orchestra, put on the full program Wednesday night. Is there a Santa Claus? asks Virginia of Mr. David Ber- bert. Why of course there is -and even the panda smiles at the good news.
