ROW TWO: Kathy Henry, Ellen Tongish, Jenifer Kerr, Barbara Groves, Rhonda Theatre '67 is organized for the purpose of giving students an opportunity to engage in dramatic productions. Membership is open to all students with no re- strictions, except an active interest in dramatics. The club serves to organize and finance the school plays. The plays are open to all members on a competitive basis. Recent successes in the past have been the Miracle Workern, Teahouse of The August Moon , and Edwin Booth? The group does at least two shows a year with students doing the production and backstage work. Barbara Groves serves as president, Sandy Owens is secretary, and Susie Hoctor is enter- tainment chairman. Through Membership in Co-curricular Activities FUTURE TEACHERS CLUB: Learning the teach- ing profession, and working with teachers to gain a better understanding of their work are the main objectives of the Future Teachers Club. Attending 5 4 Q 1 ai 'wg fi' V57 J . the Future Teachers Convention in Los Angeles, helping with Christmas parties at elementary schools, and having guest speakers at special meetings are the club's main activities. Included in its yearly activities are Ju- nior High Day, and field trips to Occidental and Cal Poly. Its newest pro- ject is the Computer Dance, in which couples are matched by a com- puter. JERRY MARTIN Mr. Marvin Stites directed this awe inspiring production, which brought out memorable per- formances by the cast, in the fall opening play production. A Civil War drama, it told of the havoc upon the career of a rising' actor, Edwin Booth, Whose brother had assassinated President Lincoln. William Winter, biographer of Edwin Booth, played by David Culp, explains the deep feelings of young' Edwin, Richard Brown, pictured in background. Tender moments are captured forever as Jerry Jennings and Belinda Bernstein portray Edwin Booth and Mary Devlin sharing moments of affection.
