Dedication To Merlin C. Probst, our willing advisor, we, the Seniors of 1951, respectfully dedicate this edition of THE WI-lETSTONIAN. Mr. Probst, a graduate of Girard High School, received his B. A. degree from Greenville College, Illinois, and a B. S. degree in Education from Bowling Green State University. After serving almost three years as a chaplain in the United States Army, he taught at Green Camp before coming to Whetstone in 1948. He is a member of Phi Delta Kappa and is working on his M. A. degree at Ohio State University. OUR SUPERINTENDENT Mr. Coon graduated from Bluffton High School, and received his B. A. degree from Bluffton College. He taught school at North Robinson and served in the U. S. Navy from 1943 to 1946, after which he returned to North Robinson. In 1947 he came to Whetstone He is a member of Phi Delta Kappa and received his M. A. degree from Ohio State University. 2
