In the hard-fought contest at Tiffin, the Redmen out- played the Blue 6- Gold in every way. The second game of the season and the first N.O.L. tilt saw Bucyrus crushed 34-6 at Lane Street field by a strong Norwalk team. In the next game the Redmen were again tied down and trampled 34-6 by the Willard Railroaders. For the fourth game the Redmen journeyed to Shelby, and when the final gun sounded after a hard-fought battle, came out on the short end of a 21-6 count. Coming back after three defeats, the Redmen upset the favored Gallon Tigers I9-O, for their first N.O.L. win. Bucyrus played inspired foot- ball and at all times had complete control of the game. The next week saw the Redmen beaten 13-6 by the Crestline Bulldogs. A continual rainfall held down the Bucyrus running and passing attack throughout the game. After the defeat at Crestline, the Redmen again came back to pile up their biggest score of the season against the Upper Rams. A Dads' Night crowd saw Bucyrus earn its second N.O.L. victory by whipping Upper 26-14. The final N.O.L. tilt saw the Bucyrus Redmen battle the Bellevue Redmen to a 12-12 tie in a thriller at Lane Street field. For the last game of the season the Redmen traveled to Mansfield and bowled over the Madison eleven 13-7. Bucyrus ended its season with four wins, four losses, and one tie.
