So many people to thank-so many things to say-And far too little space. . . First and foremost-my teachers: Mr. Yao, Mrs Lind- ley, Mr. Wang, Mr. Ericksson, Mr. Gregorio, Mme. Gaillard, Miss Puckett land Mrs. Helgesonl- You tran- cend the norm because you care about both what you teach and the people that you teach. Students learn from you, and that is no accident. Thank you for all you have taught me, and for always caring. A special love to Mrs. Yao la calm harbor in an angry storml. My friends tquality not quantitylz Thank you, Dinah, for always being there to tell my troubles to . Lisa- I will remember always what we shared, and that it was important and good. What can l say about Gerry- we have so many things as yet ahead of usl Mrs.Hel- geson-you have always been there, a helping hand in a difficult time. You know what this has meant to me, but I offer my thanks and love once again. Finally, Kathy, there is no way l could ever truly express what l feel. Your care and companionship tlong distance, albeitj has kept me going when I thought nothing could. All l can say is thank you for everything. Re- member, the best is yet to come-I love you all very much, and will always. My life was touched as well by another friend-but one I cannot thank personally. Paul Stevenson died in April, 1974, but his memory lives on in those who knew him. l am sorry we did not have more time to- gether-but I am grateful for the time we were given. And, finally, my parents: You have always cared about me tl think some mistakes were made, but that is only humanll. What is important is that you have both always tried to do the right thinggfor me-what you thought was best.
