FORE WORD This yearbook serves as a window to the year now gone, revealing: Sophomores adjusting to senior high school life: .Juniors becoming aware of their prominence at Buck- horng Seniors relunctantly await- ing their last ballgame, their last prom, and graduation from BHS. All students realized that classes were more than boring interruptions of social activities and that teachers were more than standard equipment. Even so, some welcomed, while others withstood the scholastic pressure of another year, Athletes brought BHS in first in many games. After those we lost, all resolved to win next time. Buckhorn students were active not only within the school, but in community, local, and state events as well. During this year, we passed into a new decade: exciting, vibrant, a decade of great expec- tations. The tingling sense of anticipation is seen in life at Buckhorn as unceasing en- thusiasm, better known as the SPIRIT of SEVENTY. a .VN xjxl,-.t.N.,,xft.l.fk, X 05 ' , an rr ,ar he r Ts li N UW SNK ' xswmslfwxxolvi :J-K Slim :sp , W r 4 , 1 Q V pypfgp Y ,ww iixlptx taxi ' S A as A - ' .. 1 .' il if f f sf - .A 1, g':' L45 PCANQ ' lg gti srssss ' g Nyli A in W iff S ii sh S . . ,. fqnf, .Nfl N ' 17 it wiv: gf .3 ,se X' 1 1.,B f J five gjzf --fn, 5,4
