Wentz led the attack with 19 points, Shomo and Manser each had 17 oints, P On their next game B-U traveled to Wfeston to surge ahead at the last and won 68-64. lt was a very costly win as john Shomo suffered a broken leg. B-U's next victim was Belington, B-U took an early lead and was caught at 50 all but managed to get by 57-55, Manser with 16 and Young with 15 led the attack. W-I overpowered B-U at home, and led all the game to chalk up a win of 67-57. B-U couldnt hold West Fairmont downg and as a result lost 89-75. Manser was high point man with 40 points. In an away trip Victory grabbed a big half-time lead and held on to win 76-66. Ar home on Feb. 5 Elkins gained revenge for an earlier defeat by downing B-L' 51-116. Feb. 9 at Fairmont B-U led a good deal of the way but the bears went ahead to win 59-57. After a close first half at Shinnston Feb. 12. Shinnston came back with a strong second half to win over B-U 90-60. On Feb. 16 at home, a late rally by Grafton was enough to take a win from B-U 61-70. B-U was overcome by a hot Belington Five in the home gym the next Friday 98-64.
