The year I98O A.D. finds me, SANDRA KELLEY, aimlessly roaming the barren face of the earth. Everyone, even my fellow graduates of I959, have evacuated to the planet Neptune. I remain because I was too sentimental to leave my home in Buckeye, Arizona, and the many memories of my high school days at good ole B.U.H.S. I have written an account of those '59 grads, who have taken up their respective occupations on Neptune. The report was sent to me from the planet by PAT DAVIS and DIANE MAKIN. HELEN FARR and LANNY HENRY, after many years of fighting, were the first earthlings to be married by the newly ordained Neptunian minister, DALE COOK. In the world of sports JERRY BRIDGMAN, JACKIE MECK, and ED VANLANDING- HAM hold positions on-the All-Neptunian football team. By the way, their first game of the season will be January 3, I98I , against the All-Planetarians. JUDY CLENIT and GILBERT VASQUEZ are also capturing the spotlight as the Universal Tennis Players of I980. JERRY ROSSCUP has established the first mission among the Neptunians. He is assisted by his faithful followers JOYCE COOK and CORE McGlNTY. NOEL HAMILTON was greatly honored when he was placed as head engineer for the construction of the colossal XXXI9O, which will explore the unknown dark- ness beyond Neptune. The crew members to make this perilous iourney will be DAVID ESTES, fuel engineer, JIM IVIE, radar technician, WALLACE PAYNE, co-pilot, JOHN MARSDEN, food detail, and, by all means, a platter spinner, JEANNE SIM- MONS, to keep everyone hep, naturally. EDGAR LAWLER has opened the first Interplanetary Drive-in theater. It is run by a remarkable piece of mechanism, which was designed and built by GORRELL and HOLLENSTEIN, Inc. First your rocket is placed on an automatic pulley and then is di- rected to a parking space. The controls of the pulley are run by one of his four as- sistants, MARGARET ALLEN, ALIENE BRODIE, ALVINA OBER, and IRENE ORTEGA. These, however, are no ordinary assistants. They are dressed in beautiful, exotic costumes. These costumes are only a few of the many creations turned out by the one and only KAREN ALLDREDGE. KAREN has opened a shop where she designs spacewear for the fashion wise females of Neptune. The WOOTTEN Medical Institute has many outstanding women students, such as JANIECE ADCOX, TERRI HEFLEY and IRENE AAMABISCA. After these girls have re- ceived their diplomas they will be assigned to the following stations: JANIECE will go to Yaree, which is located on the fourth moon of Saturn, TERRI will be placed on the cold side of the moon at Brrrrrrr, and IRENE has been assigned to travel as a space-school nurse. BARBARA LINDSEY, LIZ PROCK, LARRY COLLINSWORTH and CHUCK VINCENT have started their own version of Little Theater. Their first production will be a revised version of the 50-year old play Arsenic and Old Lace. The Three Rocketeers, MARGARET HINDMAN, BARBARA SANDERS, and SAN-

DRA FAULCONER, have succeeded in bringing the old-fashioned hay burner to Neptune. They now stage a rootin-tootin', bronco-bustin' planet rodeo, every Sat- urday when Neptune's second moon 'is high in the sky. LINDA WILLIAMS, editor of the famous newspaper, The Comet, has iust com- pleted the publication of FERN THRASHER'S 4lst book of poems, Love, By the First Moon of Neptune. After breaking her seventeenth engagement, JEAN ELDER started the first lonely hearts on the planet Neptune. CAROL MCDONALD was found taking a morning dip in her diamond studded pool, which was filled with pink champagne ANDHMMget this girls she is well protected by the masculinelphysiques of her life guards, BOB HARGER and RICHARD REYNOLDS. Even now the space age hasn't elluded the magnetic personalities of those Western film stars, Lightning Draw STEVE BALES, Slim Hat HAROLD SANDERS, and Slippery JIM PIERCE. The Space Zoo owners, WAYNE SCHWEIKART and DAVID FRANCIS, are currently featuring the hideous one-eye, one-horn flying purple people eater. BRUCE NARRAMORE is now constructing those fabulous space homes which NANCY WYLIE has so cleverly designed. One of the most outstanding features found in this home is the Hide-a-way kitchen, created by DALE McCALL. You simply press a button to fold up the walls. The twelve blond headed children you see roaming around the planet are JUDY BRINCK'S. Her husband is presently flying a iet propelled rock-o-bus from Neptune to Venus. HAL BRIGGS is conducting the All-Planet Orchestra and is spotlighting the marvelous MARTY ACEDO on her cornet. YES, she is actually standing on her cornet juggling the famous line of paper plates from the JR. LAYTON Paper Ware. The mechanism of the time is the remarkable hair styling machine originated by LINDA JAMES, LIZ RIEFKOHL, and DELLA SCHULZ. This machine cuts hair, gives permanents, curls hair, and, yes, even colors it. BRENDA BARCLAY is still dragging the super-duper highways after hours in her supersonic brown Ford. HELEN GRIFFIN joins her at midnight. At 2 o'clock they can be seen at Hunter's Old, Old, Old, Fashioned Hotdog stand, owned and op- erated by ED HUNTER. The D. SMITH 8f D. TYREE Book Publishers are now turning out notarized Govern- ment books by the thousands, for those who want to improve their minds. Salesladies for the books are YVONNE POWERS and CLARA MARROW. And last, but not least, we have our Neptune Bubble Dancers, PAT RICHARDSON and BARBARA BRUCE. Their act consists of extraordinary tap dancing, while at the same time they blow bubbles from a bubble pipe. Well, there you are, those 1959 graduates out in space. But me, I will still continue to live by my lonesome, on the deserted planet Earth. I 23
