STUDENT COUNCIL Several innovations were the results of Student Counci1's eiforts this year. Besides selling re- freshments during basketball games, holding after-game dances, and directing traffic at one away game, the Council sponsored Homecoming and various assemblies. Some purchases made this year were the apple machine, a large mirror for the girls' restroom, and a gavel for the Council. Flowers were purchase-d for the previous Mardi Gras queen and our candidate. Student Council also paid a portion of the cost of flowers for the park. The Council's constitution was revised, as was the student handbook, which is being reprinted for new students next year.
