M019 QCL 'Continued from Page 31 of the St. Louis Blues. Very absorbed in a game of Old Maid were Admiral Dwight Vincent, Seaman First Class MacDowall, and deck boys Iohn Drain, and Frank Metcalf. Dwight was telling about his exciting experiences on the S.S.-Y.M.C.A. while his Navy buddies listened attentively. Kibitzing all over the place were those two hard guys, Dick Volk and Dick Wagner. We left the wreck room before it was a complete wreck and strolled up to the library. Here we found Lauralee Shea autographing copies of How To Win Friends and Influence Sponsors , while her personal valet, She'll Laugh at Anything Loughridge, was busy giving her a Toni. Buried in a book entitled How To Cheat At Bridge was Kay Ftobinson. lust then, Barbara Thompson burst into the library with Dave Dresser on her heels. Barbara was crying I hate you, l hate youl while she kissed him madly. Things were getting a little too hot for comfort in the library so up we went to the pool room. Here we spotted Pool Room Mary Cattran and some of her colleagues including Bob Wilson, Nick Thomas, Iack Godshalk and Red Stiller. Shorty Hakes, champion pin-ball machine player in the U,S.A., retired to the pin-ball machine, and got three black out games, which made her the envy of everyone present. Dick Everhard, T. N. F. P., and wife Martha. came in to watch Cattran get behind that eight ball. lack Usner strolled in but no one recognized him. lack was voted Most Promising Artist of 1958 and it had gone to his head. He was wearing a mauve beret, a red and white polka dot flowing tie, and a blue shirt with P. W. on it no doubt to mean prize winner. With lack came Nick Barnes, The Greatest Thing Since Al Iolson when he sings the crowd swings ! 4Continued on Page 325 MA Continued from Page 31 Miller. Margie Sturdevant leaves her boisterousness to Mary Bare- more, and Marilyn Winter leaves her chemistry lab technique to Nancy Cadot. Ieanne Albrecht wills her temper to Ioan Lauqhman. Eleanor Botimer wills her books and hours of study to her sister Phyllis, and Harriet Victor wills her countless hours of study to her brother Tom. Nina Clark wills her shortness to Margie Blucker. Iohn Drain wills his pool cue at Roughley's to Dave Goulding and gives the Old Gray Mare to an up and coming gangster, Don Miller. To Neal Frampton, Barbara Hile donates her sweet nature and ability of being friendly with her teachers. Iudy Cole graciously leaves her knitting needles behind for Benny Norval, while Roz Raipstein apologetically leaves four long years ol strain and agony to her sister Esther. With a sigh of reliel Barb Klein wills Miss Mooney's 5th period algebra classes to Iean McConnell. Wanda Hazel donates her lock and locker to Marlene Colby. Mary Lou McDonald donates her second floor locker to her lreshie sister Barbara, and Nancy Fambauch donates 1 hers to Sally and Kathryn in hopes that they put it to better us: than she did.
