U16 BCS 'UHGAIZRG A12 SGA As the destroyer tender sliced through the blue Pacific waters the BRYCE CANYON Entertainment Troupe success- fully premiered their Music For An Evening Underway, July 32, before an audience of nearly two hundred. The Bob Kornberger Production, un- folded a full one and one half hours of en- joyment that swayed between music and comical routines. Bob Kornberger, wide- ly recognized as the Grandpa Jones of the Pacific Ocean underway show business circuit, saturated the entire production with his good nature and highly humorous jokes. With a polished comical role the producer professionally led the show from one act into another without disturb- ing the routine. With a cigar tightly clenched between his fingers, Lt. Kornberger stepped be- fore his audience and opened with a joke regarding the Navy. Then introducing the first act with another joke, the production was officially opened. As western music filtered from the loudspeaker many Coun- try and Western music addicts found it difficult to refrain from wandering thoughts of rolling green hills of home, and old fashioned hoe-downs. In the showmanship format of the old Grandpa Jones technique, the producer and master of ceremonies introduced acts for every possible taste. Ir- ,W i- m,
