We would like to honor you, Mr. Woolley, with our 1984 yearbook! 2 Searching for tomorrow, but learning from today. Class Of 84 Has Awesome Year Making their last year at BHS a success was the main purpose of the class of 1984. Pulling together as a group, the seniors worked very hard to take first place in the Homecoming float competition which followed the theme Up, Up and Away with the Diggers . Among other activities of the year, the juniors honored the seniors with the annual Jr.-Sr. Prom. As the seniors were in their final year of high school education, they began to realize the importance of planning for their future. Graduation ceremony was held Saturday May 26th, while Baccalaureate was on the 25th. The graduating class advanced 90 students into the world of making important decisions and taking challenges. 8 The class of 84 was lead by President, Greg Woodward; Vice-President, Kristi Davis, and Secretary Treasurer. Pam Brandenburg. The sponsors were Mr. Woolley and Mr. Sum- ner. The 'Digger gridders had sights of another state championship in view when the first state football game to be held in Brush was delayed due to the Thanksgiving blizzard. After the field had a chance to dry out, the 'Diggers had their weather forecast fogged over again, this time by cold and fog, but the game went on. The Florence Huskies overtook the mighty 'Diggers and won the game 21-14. The 'Diggers finished the season with two losses, one of which was non conference to Valley. All conference players were: Jeff Albert, Rick Dillehay. Mike Garcia. Scott Haskin. Todd Miller, Tom Odle, Derek Scott. Barry Quinlin. Brad Wind, and Greg Woodward.
