B-CUJBDOES F£LLWOR 6-Club's main money maker for the year was their fall work. They collected money from people for doing yard work. Other activities for the club were an exhibition basketball game and the annual club trip. Heading B-Club for '78-79 was Kent Lindell. Darryl Albert was vice-president and Rudy Perez was secretary-treasurer. Mike Meireis was sergeant of arms. Sponsoring the eighteen-senior club were coaches LeeRoy Nee- dens, Helen Speegle and Larry Mills.

fOJRIGE W5AD£Al4 AIA was once again sponsored by Miss Helen Speegle. The officers included Linda Kuriger, presi- dent; Deanna Odle, vice-president; Crystal Rieb, secretary; and Jeannie Strauch, treasurer. The quilt raffle was AlA’s biggest money-making project along with concessions, and cake raffles. Club members used the money earned to take a ski trip. Other activities were the Ice Cream Social, to welcome the new members, and the end of the year picnic in which outstanding members were honored with awards.

RU S£t££ LEjADS FBtA During the school year 1977-78, FBLA was the school's largest organization, and again, in 1978-79, it was the largest club. The club membership numbered 79, including the fourteen officers and two sponsors. The officers were: president, Andrea Ruggles; vice- president, Chris Griffith; secretary, Jenni Stinton; trea- surer, Terry Linker; historian. Shannon Fleming; reporter, Leslie Holman; and parliamentarian, Cherie Ewert. The committee chairpersons were: Social, Larry Leis; Fund-raising, Jon Wood; Project Awareness, Kent Lmdell; Chapter Development, Barb Strauch; Leader- ship Development, Deb Mohrlang; Education, Lisa Segelke; and District Coordinator, Jan Mitchell. Mrs. Joan Kreutz and Mr. John Schafer were the sponsors. with Pam Poulignot serving as the District Four Repre- sentative. Some of the organization’s money making activities were raffles—cake and TV, concesssions, the Home coming Carnival, and the jewelry sale. Fun activities included a pot luck dinner with DECA, a fun trip to Den- ver, and a Christmas caroling party. FBLA also hosted its second annual local contest. The contests were held December 2, at the high school. Fifty members qualified to attend the District Conference in Sterling on January 31. Brush hosted the conference with the help of the District Four Representative Pam Poulignot. The 22 members that qualified at district attended State in April.
