SUPERINTENDENTS MESSAGE E. W. THOMSON, Superintendent To the Seniors of 1955: Life has been compared to a musical instrument. One person produces wonderful music while another gets only discord. No one claims the instrument is at fault. This is true in life. Discord is present; so is harmony. If you play it correctly, it will give forth beauty; if you play it falsely, it will give forth only ugliness. However, life is not at fault. It is my wish that your days spent in the Brush High School will provide you with the necessary learning and skills, and, in addition, help you to get the greatest possible harmony and beauty from your lives.
