The juvenille delinquency has decreased greatly since Dean Noffsinger became truant officer; it seems he is quite experienced in this line of work, not saying which side of the line. Coming home for the summer vacation is Dorothy Diggins, Girls Physical Educa- tion teacher. Albert Bloom has just been made head manager of the J. C. Penney Co. at Brush, Colorado. The New York Symphony will have as its guest soloist this weekend, Miss Marjorie Dahms. David Evans has discovered a new brand of cigarettes, the “Evanstons”. You had better give them a try. The new minister at the Brush Methodist Church is the Rev. Fred Burnett. Have you noticed? Vale Blessing, Jr. is driving a new 1960 Cadillac. Making his fortune from duck hunters hunting out of season, is Don Marietta. Have you noticed the heatwave sweeping the nation? This hot air is due to the recent success of that saxophone player, Bruce McLagan. Having revised all school Spanish books to his satisfaction, Edward Padilla is thinking of retiring. Juanita Peterson has just told us that she has become a professional jockey and that she owes her success to horseback riding. Ronnie Rieb, president of the Basketball Coaches Association, is here for a rest. Following the announcement of “Mr. America of I960” it was announced that Phyllis Hansen of Brush. Colorado, will become the new “Mrs. America”. The new member of the Tennessee Mountain Boys is Bart Gill, with enough money to own his own still. Jackie Hartwig, the Valentino of the piano, has a good deal to say about the “Strife” Magazine. Peter Hildebrand, editor of the “Western Horseman” and other famous magazines, and Jerry Johnson, well known rancher, are still hunting Indians during their spare time.
