Washburn, H. Schreiner, D. Baughman, I). Thompson, D. Gallegos, B. Thornsby, B. Miller, K. Hansen. JUNIOR CLASS HISTORY In September 1943 the Class of ’47 was welcomed into B. H. S. The highlight was the initiation. This class struggled through the year with the following officers: President, Albert McNamee; Vice-President, Es- telle Lebsock; Secretary, Lynn Hutcheson; Treasurer, Bill Washburn and Student Representative, Gene Rich- ard. Mr. Clark and Miss Johnson were the sponsors. In their Sophomore year they were thrilled to decorate for Baccalaureate and sponsor the hayride in tra- ditional manner. Class sponsor. Mr. Seguine and co-sponsor. Miss Walters encouraged them for their class play: House of Greed.” The class officers elected were Joe Colwell. President; Florence Paynter. Vice-Pres- ident; Dorothe Mae Peterson, Secretary; Gene Richard, Treasurer; and Clarice Wilson, Student Representative. This year will long be remembered by the Juniors. March 28th at the Central Auditorium, our class play, One Mad Night,” was presented. With the help of our sponsors, Mrs. Bristol and Mr. Chesney the Junior-Senior banquet was given the 20th of Mav, at 6:30 P. M. at the Masonic Temple. The theme of the banquet was “The Garden of Tomorrow.” The Prom followed the banquet which was held at the Central Gymnasium; the decorations w’ere centered around the theme used for the banquet. This class will keep going to reach its goal, The Class of ’47.”
