VIQ I May 5 D. E, BANQUET in El Jardin Patio. X it Mistress of Ceremonies was Maria Ofelia Gonzalez and following the Invocation by Homer Hanna, everyone sang Let me Call You Sweetheart. The Welcome was given by Manuel Gutierrez and the Response by Mr. R. E. Turpin. Entertainment was furnished by Irma Gutierrez and Xavier Rocha doing the Charleston and Be-Bop and Al Jolson, Jr., singing a solo. Amelia de la Rosa introduced the Employers and Mr, E. L. Pritchett introduced the Special Guests. Olga Hernandez the n entertained with a solo, followed by Gaston Galvan, who introduced Ex-D.E. Students, Mr. Gilbert Sharpe talked on Maintenance of Freedom and Mr. Leonel Garza presented the Certificates. Special Awards were presented by Maria Ofelia Gonzalez and the program ended with Enrique Gonzalez leading the group in the Distributor's Creed. Familiar scene in school.
