GOLDEN L-note emo The Brownsville Golden Eagle Band started its full schedule this year by playing and marching during the football halftimes and taking part in an Independence Day Parade in Mexico. In November, they had a concert for the jtmior Chamber of Commerce and attended the Pigskin jubilee in Weslaco and marched for the Christmas Parade in Harlingen. This was followed by their participation in the Citrus Fiesta and Charro Days Parades and Concerts. They really worked hard during the Spring when they gave their Spring Concert and entered the Interscholastic League contests. This was followed by an even bigger event, the Brownsville Festival of Music held at jacob Brovxm Auditorium, where the Eagles entered contests and on Thursday night gave a concert. They concluded their year with the traditional Pomp and Circumstance for graduation. These activities are the reason why we always point with such pride to our band, THE GOIDEN EAGLES. ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, left ROY NORTON DIRECTOR, right JAMES R. MURPHY
