Tim lfluuo HAROLD HATTEN Boys' Chorus. Harold has never been known to be late al- though he lives about five miles from -the school. By this we see he is really desirous of an educa- tion, and Wou1dn't it be spvlendid if those who live about a tenth as far could be there on time? When it comes to getting pumpkins and corn stalks for Ha1lowe'en panties we leave it up to Harold. ORVIS HIDINGER- Doc Boys' Onerettas, '269 Boys' Chorus '26g Lincoln Literary Siociftyg Annual Staff. Hail! To the chief who in tr'u'npfh advances with a heart of sold and a tooth to match. Orv's is a studious and likable younq chan, especially fo some girls, or is it a girl? He has rare charms around skirts. Ask anylbody. ' GRAYCE JOHNS French Clubg Payqeants. We catch Grayce dreaminff so much. espe':ial'y in the spring, and we have often wondered what she dreams about. Maybe it'fs that a young girl's fancy runs away with her when the grass turns green and the first meadow flowers appear. But then again perhaps her moods are provoked by ove. ZELMA JOHNSON French Clubg Girls' Chorusg Girls' Hi-Y, '26g Pageant '25g Lincoln Literary Society. Zelma is a quiet, Winsome young lassie who has endea1'ed henself to everyone in the two years she has been with us. Her light blue eyes are always smiling, and she never was known to be cross. Zelma allways studies her lessons and has become a favorite with the teachers as well as the students. CHESTER KIMMELL - Chet. This lad who seems to be full of a certain ele- ment called electricity, is a :second king of the ivories. He has sufficient control over his big brawny hands to bring forth the softest and sweetest harmonies. Pnyc 7lll'!'llf'If-Hill'

Tun lflvuo ELIZABETH GOBEL- Betty French Clubg Darling Literary Societyg Soph- omore Miseriesg Latin Clubg Girls' Hi-Y, '26g Pageants. The class has missed this untiring member who has been absent from us for aa long time, due -to illness. However, she is not forgotten. She is a born executive, full of fun and pep, and a splendid scholar. MARY GOODER French Club: Girls' Chorus: Treas. Lincoln ligerary Societyg A. A.g Annual Staffg Pageant Mary strikes us as a shy, demure young llassie with tranquil, blue eyes, and cheeks of a natural red. 'There are great hopes for Mary in the artistic world of tomorrow. We wish her success in whatever her life's ambition is. EDWARD GUTH- Ed. Treas. Hamilton Literary Socieityg Class Play, Asst. Managerg Pot Boiler g A, A. Ed., couldn't you get up just one minute eallier? Ed. is always on duty with :all the dope, especially in Economics. Though Ed. has been with us only this last year he leaves his mark on B. H. S. as a faithful and loyal supporter. GERALD GUTHRIE- Abe Gerald has that way about him that seems to sugffest strength of character. lf quantity has anything to do with quality, this youth should have a great deal of it. He is one of our walking derricks and an honest to goodness good sport. CLAIR HADDEN This is the first year Cllair has been with our class. He comes from the surrounding hills and we think, knows a lot about farming. Some of our greatest presidents lived on farms in their boyhood and there are great hopes for Clalr. Page 7'u'cn.fy

'Pun lflullo MARTHA LEATHERS- Mart Operetta, Girls' Chorus, A. A., Ploneer Liter- ary Society, French Club, Pageants. Martha spent three months of this year in Florida, during which we all, especially our bar- ber, missed her very much. We think we shall all go to Florida fand see if it will affect our hair as it did Mart's. She is loved by all, and remember, all includes the boys. H. FREDERICK LEWIS- Ted Latin Club, Vice-Pres. French Club, Manager Senior Class Play, Manager The Echo, '26, Chairman Hallowe'en Party '26, Orchestra, Treasurer Band, Sec1'etary Class '26, Pageants, A. A., President Hamilton Literary Society. Four years fairly flew for this young chap. Busy can't be applied to Ted, he's swamped. Some day we'll hear of Ted managing the affairs of the nation, and we know he'll do it well. LAURA LOVE French Club, Literary Society, Latin Club, High School Chorus, Operetta. This is a case of quality rather than quantity because Laura has alwlays been known for her seventy-five pounds. She only comes to school in the morning, and it seems that she spends her afternoons at a little country school house not far from town where it is said the hills are White, WILBUR LOWERS Boys' Hi-Y, '25, A. A., Boys' Chorus, Literary Society. Wilbur seems to have a peculilar fondness for study, a fondness which many of us lack. We think because of the industrious habits developed in his youth that he will be a great man some day. Many of the female sex have been often much chagrined and disappointed because their charms seem to have no effect on his infiexible heart. NORMAN MATSON- Peezer Boys' Chorus, Treasurer Darling Literary So- ciety, A. A. Normie is called the snoreless sleeper of B. H. S. since so many of his sleeping hours are taken up with social functions. But Normie thinks he is only young once and means to get out of life all the enjoyment possible. Normie recalls to us when we see him nodding, that quotation from Macbeth, Sleep the innocent sleep. But never fear, Peezer, you'll wake up some dlay. Page 'l'u'r'nfy-Tim
