Tun lflvuo I' ERE LE BRIDGE- Bridgie 'Owl Stal? '24, '25g Basket Ball '25, '26g Oporet- tasg Boys' Chorusg Banquet Committee '25g Ham- ilton Literary Society: A. A.: Annual Statl' '26. Warm air is not only supported here but also exported. Bridgic's poetry reminds us that poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feel- ings, as Wordsworth put it. This young ch:a-p's latest occupation is strutting his stuff on the new collegiate pipe. lWc wish him success in his pro. l'cssion.J SARA BRIGGS- Sal 'Owl Staff '25g Operettag Class Play '26g Sec'y Lincoln Literary Society '26, Girls' Chorus: Pa- geantsg A. A.g Latin Clubg Banquet Committee '25g Girls' Hi-Yg French Club. Sweet and clear notes are heard. That's Sal singing! And how we love to hear her sing! If she would go to Atlantic City to enter the Beauty Contest she would have no opponents because no one would feel that they would have a chance. She's an all around good sport. MARJORIE BROWN- Barney Chorusg Pioneer Literary Societyg Operettag Pageanltsg Hi-Y, French Clwbg Latin Club '23, '24g A. A.9 'Owl Stlaff, Every member of our class was glad to wel- come Barney back to her accustomed place after a se1'ious illness which confined her to her home for almost three months. She is endeared to everyone by her sweet personality and cheer- ful disposition. STEPHENS BROWN- Tebe Secretary Hamilton Literary Society, French Clubg Operettag Ohorusg Class Plllayg Hi-Y '25g A, A.g Year Book Staff '263 'Owl Staff '24, '25g Pageant. Stephens is our born actor. Did you see him in C'l1arlie's Aunt ? If you didn't, you surely missed something. Telbe is known for his long legs, big feet and his fondness for light-haired gir s. MARGARET BULLERS-- Peg Peg is known to everyone in B. H. S. because of the help she gives him in his reference work at the library. She is a happy-go-lucky sort of a girl with her cares Hung behind her and never grumbles when at work. Page I iffc1'u

Tim lflvuo BERT BARR-- Push Opercttasg A. A.g Orchestrag Boys' Chorus: Darling Literary Societyg Hi-Y '25. He knows everybody, everybody knows him. How popular these Barrs are! Up-to-date with all the latest dances including the Charleston! Bert seems to have a failing for Freshman girls, but anyway, let's give three cheers for our future local butcher. R'ahl Rah! Rah! Barr. MARTHA BARR Girls' Chorus: Girls' Basket Ball Tean1 '24: Ban- quet Committee '25g Operettag Pageantsg Girls' Hi-Yg Class Playg Annual Staff '26: Vice-Pres. Hamilton Literary Society: A. A.: Cheer Leader. How could we forget this important member of our class? She makes you think of Tennyson's Brook, because she babbles on forever. She also has a peculiar preference for light colors, especially White, ERNEST BLACK- Ernie President '25, '26g Hi-Y, Operettasg Orchestrag Chorusg Vice-Pres. Lincoln Literary Society '26, Cllas-s Play, Annual Staff: 'Owl Staff '25. Ernest isn't old-fashioned ,although he does seem to prefer Riggs to :automobiles or air- planes. We expect him, some day in the near future. to bring much honor and renown to B. H. S. by 'becoming a rival of Fritz Kreisler. ELIZABETH BLAKE Chorus '23, '24, Darling Literary Societyg Hi-Yg A. A. Elizabeth believes in that proverb, Speech is silver, but silence is golden. She is industrious and works very hard. Her efforts are crowned with success as a sight of her grades would j :'.'c to you. KINSEL BREAKEY Pioneer Literary Society: Base Ball '24, '253 'Owl Staff '25. Kinsel reminds us of one of those big, sturdy fronltiensmen with his own peculiar dialect. We do like to listen to Kinsel's stories. His heroes always get into such terrible predicaments! 'Vim lflvi io GRANT BURKHARIY1' Orchestrag Bandg Lincoln Literary Societyg Chorusg Year Book Stall' '26g Class Play. Grant is not a general, but he is a steady and thorough plodder in his work. He not only has talent in the music line, but also reaches far in art. The class has appreciated him throughout his high school course. J AM ES CAN NING- J im Operettag 'Owl Staff '24, '25g Literary Society: Class Playg Boys' Chorus. We wish Jim would follow up the occupation of writing funny stories. How could anyone for- get his talk on Bed Bugs delivered one day in chapel? With Jim, wit is always dominant and a laughing crowd always denotes the presence of Jim. VENA CHAMBERL1 N Girls' Chorusg Pageantg A. A.5 Hamilton Liter- ary Society. Our class would be far from complete without this worthy individual. For four long yea1's she has plodded on, working hard to obtain those ben- efits derived from the successful completion of a high school course. HELEN COLEMAN Pageantsg Girls' Chorusg Darling Literary Societyg French Club: A. A. If you couldn't see Helen you woul'dn't know she was around because she is so quiet. She makes good use of all her time, studying. More of us should follow her example. WILLIAM COLEMAN- Bill French Club: Darling Literary Societyg French Play '26: A. A. Stop! Whom do we have hero? lt's Guil- liaume, with brains, length, and a noticeable bashfulness that so few of this sex possess. He is known commonly as Bill, the thinker, and we think a great deal of him. l'uyc Hiarlccn
