The Service Squad is the largest organization in the school, comprising over 700 Technites. Their duties are numerous and the difficult job of keeping the squad running was given this term to Captain Edwin Pearlman and Inspectors Richard Sugarman and Howard Bolling. This pin represents the honor, the high- est any student can receive from his school, which has been bestowed upon him. Along with this honor comes responsibility. Tech's Arista members are called upon to proctor and mark entrance examina- tions, and to serve with the program committee.
