PUBLlCAllUwJ .,.M,masstrssw,maK?A6Z-Yi Our Hrst look at the Math Student revealed the common thought, It's Greek to me. After our second look, we found out that it was Creek, the Greek letters being used in many mathe- matical operations. In our last two years, we at- tempted to solve puzzles that had no solutions and enjoyed reading articles not found in the syllabus. VVe all remember the first time that we heard the word Horizons mentioned. The average com- ment was 'fWhat's that? Many of us found out after reluctantly passing thirty-Eve cents up to an English teacher reputed to fail those who failed to subscribe. Then came the pleasant sur- prise . . . we liked it! The Science Bulletin kept us infomied on the world of science from our first days in an I. P. room right down to the Physics or Chem regents or that Chemistry comprehensive. It included the activities of all the science departments of the school. After school hours, those of us brave, hardy, or fool enough to trudge up to the seventh floor, found Harold Fruchtbaum, Editor-in-Chief, di- rectin all operations in the publication of our schoof newspaper. VVith scissors, glue, and edi- tors Welcher, Berry, Cohen, Trachtman, Rosen- berg, Apfelbaum, and Kohn, the Survey is com- posed anew. For four years, it has been our monthly recorder of school events.
