. . Did you ever see an ideal walking . . socialite A shy Technite and Marv Kohn dance with two Bay Ridge girls at the Friday Afternoon Social Club. Okay! So your school has almost everythingl But is there a social life? Letis take a look. The GD. sponsored several dances each term, usually taking the name of the dance from the moods then current such as the Bunny Hop at Easter and the Turkey Trot at Thanksgiving. For those boys who preferred a more informal atmosphere the G.0. regularly invited andfor imported bright young lassies from the various girlis schools to the social club held on Friday afternoon. Because the affairs became almost commonplace our class seeking some novelty instituted the first Tech Junior Prom, which was held at the Hotel New Yorker. So, considering all these and other functions llike Senior Nite that was held on June l7l, Techmen can give a very definite Hyesw in answer to the question: Hldut do you also liv-e?l' Technites and their dates engage in some lively terpsichorian activities at the annual Spring Fling.
