THE AGE I Is THAT . -M-5?!l Slfli THAT Flil.1.0XV? He's a Senior. Sure, he's wearing a senior button, hut you can tell hy other signs that he has long since forgotten the liner points ol' freshman I.P. You may detect in his eyes and features an evidence of meditation, unlike the counte- nance Il10St often worn hy Tech lledgings. An appearance not produced by wondering where the Tech Shangri-La Q5Clj is, but one expressive of the long face that Regents EX2llHlIlIiIl0llS, problems of placement, college appli- cations, college entrance exams, and scholarships force the senior to adopt. Have you ever noticed the sun glasses he sometimes wears? Not an expcdiency, hut only a manifestation of the i'Senior complex. lf the aspects ol' our private lives and of world affairs were controlled by the color through which they were viewed more of us would be wearing colored glasses. Unfortunately, such is not the case. The senior faces the fickle, competitive world, a trifle uncertain and none too wary, but not entirely unprepared, for he is armed with twelve years of comprehensive education. Certainly, his education has only begun, but it is for him to use the knowledge thus far acquired as the basis for molding a progressive, peaceful, and happy world. 26
