The Math Stu- dent’s Journal, a publication fea- turing complex problems and new ideas, is their guide book. Led by President Steve Croop- nick, the club goes beyond or- dinary class work and invites noted speakers to discuss mathe- matical concepts with its mem- bers. This is a fundamental question which the Physics Club seeks to answer. President Robert Dreyfuss presides at bi-monthly meetings where the club members discuss and ex- periment with such phenomena as elec- tricity and gravity, and where they plan projects for the Science Fair. In this age of technology, trained physicists are badly needed. The Physics Club provides val- uable background for men who perhaps one day will answer this demand.

CLUB LATIN CLUB Leila Joy prepares to give a play review in Latin. Classical Latin is a tie binding of many of the professions and all of the Romance languages. The Latin Club, however, is concerned not only with the elaborate syntax of Latin, but also with the ancient heritage of Roman civilization. Under Mrs. Austen’s guidance and Frank Shul- man’s leadership, the club has started a newspaper, written in Latin, and is plan- ning to produce plays in their Latin ver- sions.
