BAND The Spirit of Brookline High. I ' he sound of band music, along with the steady pulse of the bass drum, hurries you along to a rally in the gymnasium. This is the same band which, under the direction of Mr. Philpott and student conductor James Rosenberg arouses your school spirit at football games and entertains you at school assemblies. In addition, you hear this band at the annual Alumni Concert and at the Quadrangle Concert in the Spring. The Brookline Band is indeed a basic part of our school spirit, as well as an opportunity for talented musicians to gain ex- perience. Attention everybody, please.
