Dick Lott was selected as editor and Olin C-ile, business manager. These two people, with the help of the Bobcat's advisers, Mr. Zick and Mr. Horrigan, chose the rest of the staff. This year the School Board bought a camera for school use. Because of this, most of this year's Bobcat pictures were taken by the staff members. The Bobcat, published by last year's Senior class, won third place in the class A division of South Dakota High School Press Association contest.
