19-BOBCAT-31 ' 'f' N F' HISTORY OF CLASS OF 1931 IN THE first week of September, 1927, we, the class of '31 started forth on our high school career. At an election of of- ficers the following were chosen to conduct our Freshman Af- fairs: Dorothy Gray, president, Marian Srpillum, vice president, Robert Wick, secretary-treasurer, Ruby LeFevre, social chair- man. Our minds were turned to study until the end of the year. We celebrated the occasion with a picnic, held at Lake Campbell. After a rest during the fine summer months, we resumedour studies in the fall of '28, Our Sophomore leaders were as follows: Robert Wick, president, Kenneth Johnson, vice president, Eve- lyn Murphy, secretary-treasurer, Dorothy Gray, socianl chairman. 'Dhe class won many honors for the school in dramatics, athletics, and other activities. The picnic was held at Lake Campbell. Our Junior year started out with a great deal of pep and spirit which carried through to the end of the year. The officers were Robert Wick, president, Merle La Mont, vice president, Mar- garet Steele, secretary-treasurier. :Six members -of our class re- ceived parts in the play, Green Stockings. Also several took part in the operetta, Yokohoma Maidf' The class play, The Charm School, was held in the High School Auditorium and the proceeds from this went for the banquet. This was held in the Dudley Hotel and the theme, The Blacksmith's Shop, was care- fully and cleverly worked out. Our picnic was held at Lake Oakwood. In the fall of '30 we took up the responsibilities of dignified Seniors. This year we chose Robert Wick, president, Lyle Otter- ness, vice president, Helen Sasse, secretary, Dermont Herreman, treasurer. Two of our members were chosen as All-State Foot- ball men.
