On the eighth of November.... the Junior Class presented their play, “WE SHOOK the FAMILY TREE,” with a large audience at all three performances. The play was a comedy in which Hildegard Dolson is forced by her father to go to the Junior-Senior Prom with Freddie Shermer who has to wear knickers because of a foolish idea his mother has. Because of Bob’s teasing and Jimmy’s inventions, Hildegarde gets so mixed up she is accused of a robbery but in the end Freddie becomes a man and wears long pants to the Prom and everything turns out fine.
