The officers held a panel discussion on Good Grooming, Our club was organized 1948-1949 by the members of the Senior Secretarial Class. The first semester just the Senior girls taking typing were eligible for membership and it was discussed at the De- cember meeting Whether or not to let the lunior typing students join. Miss Shields and Donna lacobsen planned the program and served the refreshments for the October meeting. The girls were appointed in committees of two's and three's to plan for the meetings. Marcell Golden, Carol Hircock, and Bare bara Best served on the Year Book Committee. The club held its yearly banquet in the spring, and the last meeting was held in May. The members had a very enjoyable year and 1 am sure that we all gained from it. Pagr' 28

The Sioux Club and Cheerleaders form the pep organization in the school. lt is their job to lead the student body in boosting the athletic department to victory. The Cheerleaders and Sioux have been very active this year striving to better the school spirit, by adding new yells, having colorful and lively skits at pep rallies and leading yells at games. The Sioux Club has been divided into committees to plan the pep rallies. Each committee is held responsible to organize and develop d pep rally at a designated time. The day of the game is always marked by the Cheerleaders and Sioux wearing their uniforms. The familiar sound of Your pep, your pep, you've got it, now keep it, don't lose it, you'll need it, your pep, your pep , echoes through the halls between classes.
