SENIOR BAND 64-65 season performing for various functions, some of which were: the Fall Pop Concert, the P.T.A. Christ- mas Concert, the Annual Spring Concert,the NYSSMA Spring Festival, CCMTA Jamestown Solo Festival, Chautauqua Music Festival, Class Night, and Gradua- tion. The band was honored by several requests for special ensembles to perform for various groups. The NYSTA Southwestem Zone Music Teachers Confer- ence and the Northem Chautauqua County Intermedi- ate Teachers meeting were two of these functions. Seven of the members of our band were honored by selection to the All-State Sectional held at-Iamestown. As an added honor, three ofthese studentswere awarded Srst chair positions by audition. The memory ofthe band's trip to the World's Fair in New York still stands out in the minds of the band members. It was an experience to be remembered, and we hope that our World's Fair Page will be a perma- nent reminder of memorable days.
