Forty-six Glafu As Freshmen, the class of '48 started their high school career with great enthusiasm. For them it was to be the most important phase in their life. Under the supervision of Mrs. Carl Stowell and led by their officers, Pat Schlicker as president: Marilyn Silver as vice president: Frank Nichols as secretary and Ray House as treasurer, they sponsored their first dance which turned out to be a great success, fitting for the class of '48. Their second year as Sophomores was just as successful as the first year. They sponsored dances, assemblies, and a bond drive under the able leadership of D. Breads and Mrs. Janet Russell Dunham as advisors: Roger Cureen, as president: Patricia Schlicker, as vice presidnt: June Thomas, as secretary: and Josephine Lus as treasurer. In their Junior year, they began in earnest the job of raising money for their senior trip. By sponsoring a Barn Dance and combining forces with the Seniors, they helped put over an exciting Junior-Senior Carnival which was enjoyed by all who attended. The Junior Prom was the high- light of the year. With a beautifully decorated gymnasium, they held a dance that was long remembered. Their class officers were as follows: Russell Zanghi as president, Alan Raun as vice president, Luella Johnson as secretary, and June Thomas as treasurer: Linda Agostinelli and Ken- neth Fenton were their advisors. Their fourth and final year as Seniors was their most diligent year. Under the supervision of Mr. Carl D. Pasini and Mrs. Mildred Kerr Kunz and with their officers-President, Alan Raun: vice president, James Rut- kowski: secretary, Luella Johnson and treasurer, June Thomas, the class sponsored a record-breaking magazine drive, a Leap Year Dance, a Fresh- man Initiation Dance, the Junior-Senior Carnival, and the Senior Play, BOLTS AND NUTS, which was the highlight of the year. In June, they will take a well earned trip and end their four years of successful working and learning together,
