Everyone seemed to pull together in this class and everything they did was a success. Putting on a Spaghetti Supper and selling school hats were a chal- lenge, but the Juniors made the best of them. At the first home basket- ball game, the Juniors held a nickel dance, the one and only of its kind this year. At Christmas time they sold cards to the students and com- munity. On St. Valentines day they held an informal dance, with George Cireen's orchestra, which was a great success. The Junior Prom, a tradition of all Junior classes, was held early in the spring. It provided inspiring moments, in a background of soft lights, music and the romantic air of formal gowns. Everyone who attended holds memories of its serene beauty. The climax for the Junior year was the partaking in the Junior- Senior Carnival. lt was carried out with all the frills and frolics of a real carnival and, with its termination. the Junior Class ended its eventful year. 5
