Arlvisors Initiation day to a freshman was like taking the blindfold from him. The thrill of joining the big boys and girls was slightly altered by their wearing baggy, disarranged clothes and weird markings on their faces. A day of their being slaves of Seniors ended in their being guests at a dance. I They enjoyed the new privilege of selling name stickers and the prospect of their first dance was thrilling. This dance was set in the theme of Turkey Strutters' Ball and everyone had a memorable time. At our annual Christmas party, a representative group put on a small entertainment for the school. In the spring, the freshmen gave their last social event, The Freshmen Frolicf' As the year progressed, the class grew familiar with the ways of high school life.
